Fan Liyun
Fan Liyun, PhD, a professor and a doctorial tutor at Harbin Engineering University, a visiting scholar at London Metropolitan University. Holding the young top talent of the National “Ten Thousand Leading Talent Project”, the vice chairman of the Hybrid Power Branch of the Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines (CSICE), the vice chairman of the Design and Intelligent Manufacturing Branch of the CSICE, the director of the academic committee of the Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory of Internal Combustion Engines, the principal of Technology Research Institute for Heilongjiang Low-Carbon/ Zero-Carbon Internal Combustion Engine Industry, the founding member of the High Power Engine Global Research and Development Alliance, the technical advisor to Chongqing Hongjiang Machinery Co., Ltd. of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, the member of China Energy Society, and other positions.
Guided by global energy conservation and emission reduction as well as the goals of “Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality”, facing the significant demand for power equipment, the basic research on the scientific issues related to engine fuel injection systems have been carried out, being one of the leaders in this field. Hosted over 30 projects, including National Science and Technology Major Project, National Natural Science Foundation of China, High-tech Ship Research Program of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Owning 6 authorized International Invention Patents, and 401 applied Chinese Invention Patents, of which 235 are authorized and 10 are converted. Have published 137 high-level academic papers, including 91 papers indexed by EI, 39 papers indexed by SCI, and 4 excellent conference papers. Have registered over 50 software copyrights. Have participated in the compilation of two national standard. Systematically forming intellectual property rights for engine fuel injection technology.
Have received scientific research rewards such as First Award of Chinese Invention and Innovation twice, Silver Award and Excellence Award for Chinese Patent Award, Second Award for Technical Innovation Award of Ministry of Education, Silver Patent Award at the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions, First Award and Second Award of Heilongjiang Province Technical Innovation Award, China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, Award for Individuals of the 11th Invention and Entrepreneurship Award, Gold Award Patents at Macau International Invention Exhibition, Second Award for Science and Technology Progress of China Shipbuilding Association, Silver Award of the First Heilongjiang Province Patent Award, Gold Award for Patents in the Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Industry twice, Heilongjiang Province Youth Science and Technology Award, and, etc.
